Teen Moms Jade Cline Denies Holding Out On Sex With Sean Austin for 6 Months

Jade Cline clarified a recent comment she made about her sex life with Sean Austin on Teen Mom: Family Vacation.

"I was a little tipsy during that conversation and what I meant was that for the past 6 months, I have been more careful with sex," Cline, 26, explained on Thursday, March 21. "I wasn't completely abstaining. My wedding and honeymoon were coming up soon! I just wanted to have a good time and not end up pregnant lol #TeenMomFamilyReunion."

In the March 20 episode of Teen Mom: Family Reunion, the cast took part in a couple’s workshop with relationship experts Dr. Mike Dow and Michaiah Dominguez.

Dr. Dow mentioned, "We're here to show you techniques on breathing and vocalizing to enhance intimacy in your relationship."

The experts explained that the purpose of the exercise was to strengthen the bond between partners, no matter how long they have been in a relationship.

This task immediately made Austin feel uneasy, making him contemplate leaving the activity altogether.

“I think this is ridiculous,” he said. “I'm ready to leave. My mom is going to see this, you know what I mean?”

Despite feeling unsure, Austin continued the exercise with encouragement from Cline and the rest of the cast. The exercise only came to a close when Cline shared details about her sex life with Austin.

Cline shared her feelings about sex, admitting that she associates it with reproduction and feels scared of getting pregnant. She expressed her fear and anxiety, especially after experiencing a traumatic pregnancy and labor while welcoming her daughter Kloie in 2017. Cline confessed that she has been avoiding intimacy with her partner for the past six months, as she is not mentally prepared for another pregnancy. With upcoming events like their wedding and honeymoon, she questioned whether they are ready to expand their family.

In response, Austin acknowledged Cline's concerns and apologized for his previous selfish behavior. He expressed understanding and empathy towards her fears and worries, realizing the impact of their past experiences on her current feelings.

Cline and Austin tied the knot in October 2023 in Austin, Texas, surrounded by loved ones. Recently, the newlyweds revealed that they are considering growing their family.

The Mane & Marble salon owner shared with E! News that she has stopped taking birth control. "I've been off birth control for about three weeks now. I ran out. I'm just leaving it up to God," she said.

Cline is grateful for the unwavering support and love of her husband. She expressed her appreciation on Instagram in January, giving a shoutout to him for being by her side through all life's challenges. She feels fortunate to have such a loving and supportive partner.
