Teen Moms Tyler Baltierra Shares He Went to Daddy Daughter Dance with Daughter Nova

Teen Mom's Tyler Baltierra had a wonderful time with his daughter Nova, 9, at their first Daddy Daughter Dance. Tyler, 32, expressed his joy in an Instagram post on Friday, April 12, calling it one of the best nights he's ever had.

He kept sharing about their evening, telling how he went all out to make it a special night for her. This included beginning the evening by surprising her with a bouquet of flowers.

"I greeted her at the door with a bunch of flowers. Then, we enjoyed a delicious dinner of salmon, shrimp, and perch," he recounted. "We had deep conversations about life, dreams, kindness, love, and fears."

Once they got to the event, Tyler mentioned that things just kept getting better as they danced the night away without a care in the world.

"We danced to Taylor Swift, Van Morrison, and The Black Eyed Peas for over an hour as if we were the only ones in the room," he remembered with a grin. "She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time. It was a moment where life couldn't possibly get any sweeter!"

The MTV reality star mentioned that they may have danced too enthusiastically because when they arrived home, Nova's feet were sore from wearing heels for the first time.

He concluded his heartwarming post by sharing his pride in being Nova's father.

"He expressed, "She's truly such an amazing kid. I'm continuously impressed and inspired by her. Being her father will always be the greatest honor I'll never deserve. I love you Novalee Reign Baltierra! #BlessedByDaughters #GirlDad."

His sweet message included two photos and a behind-the-scenes video of his daughter showing off her dance moves. The first photo was a cute selfie of him and Nova in matching black outfits, standing in front of a brick wall and smiling at the camera. The second photo showed Nova in her long-sleeved dress, sparkly tights, and silver jewelry, looking adorable.

Tyler met his middle school sweetheart Catelynn Lowell in 2005 when they were in 7th grade. They got married in August 2015. They have daughters Carly, 14 (who was adopted when she was born), Nova, Vaeda, 4, and Rya Rose, 2.

The couple became known in 2009 on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant and later Teen Mom OG. Their story focused on the adoption of Carly, as they made the tough choice to have her adopted by Brandon and Teresa Davis from North Carolina.
