Swifties have the exciting opportunity to embark on a four-night fan cruise to the Bahamas next year, departing from Miami. However, it's important to note that Taylor Swift herself will not be present on the Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas ship.
The organizers of the cruise, travel agents from Marvelous Mouse Travels, emphasize multiple times on the event’s website that it is not associated with or supported by TASRM Publishing or Taylor Swift.
Named "In My Cruise Era," the voyage is set to depart from the Port of Miami on October 21, 2024, following Swift's final performance in the city.
"Come and join our magnificent Taylor-themed celebration! Make new acquaintances, partake in nostalgic era-themed attire, exchange friendship bracelets, and indulge in the countless offerings aboard this extraordinary ship!" proclaims the website.
Presenting the Taylor Fan-tastic Cruise are esteemed travel agents, Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes, renowned as the Marvelous Mouse experts for both Taylor fandom and Royal Caribbean travels.
Taylor Swift surprises fans by appearing on Dancing with the Stars. However, it is unclear how much space will be allocated for her fans on the Allure of the Seas ship, which has a total of 2,748 staterooms and can accommodate 5,496 guests at double occupancy.
The agents coordinating the cruise did not promptly reply to CNN Travels request for additional information. Royal Caribbean directed inquiries back to the travel agency.
The specifics are still being finalized; the organizers mention that they are collaborating with Royal Caribbean on nightly Taylor-related events during the four-night voyage. Some suggested events, which may undergo modifications, include a themed dance party named "I won't dance unless I'm dancing with you" and themed karaoke titled "Heartbreak is our anthem, we proudly sing it."
Royal Caribbean's private island and Nassau in the Bahamas are the designated ports of call.
According to the events website, the boardwalk balcony rooms are currently sold out as of Thursday. However, there are still other types of staterooms available. It is necessary to make a $100 per person deposit when booking these staterooms. The prices for double occupancy range from $1,573 to $1,967 in total.
All guests who are not yet 21 years old need to be accompanied by an adult who is 21 years old or older, with few exceptions.
Since its start in spring, Swift's ongoing "Eras" tour has generated tremendous interest, with numerous fans traveling to attend the highly anticipated shows. A delayed concert prompted an airline to waive change fees for fans who extended their stays in Buenos Aires.
