Kenzie Petty, a contestant on Survivor 46 airing on CBS, is currently on the show and also celebrating some exciting news - her first pregnancy.

On Sunday, May 12, Petty took to Instagram to share the happy announcement with her followers. She wrote, "I’ve gotten really good at keeping secrets and going on adventures this year, but it’s finally the perfect day to tell y’all WE’RE HAVING A BABY!! Sweet lil Petty popping up in September."

Petty announced her exciting news on Mother’s Day, revealing a slideshow of photos from her maternity photo shoot. One photo captured Petty proudly displaying her baby bump peeking out of her unbuttoned jeans. Another photo showed Petty in a sundress, with her husband Jackson wrapping his arms around her and giving her a loving kiss on the head.

The reality star shared her anticipation for growing her family.

"I am thrilled to be embarking on the journey of motherhood. Being pregnant brings me so much joy, and I am grateful for the gift of life and for my little bean," she exclaimed. "We are beyond excited and filled with happiness. Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow mothers!"

She also gave a shoutout to her husband, whom she married in September 2023.

"Jackson, my amazing husband, I want to thank you for helping me become a mom. Thank you for being my partner in everything we do, from life to parenting," she wrote. "I am so thankful for you and for starting our little family. Even though today is all about the girls, I truly couldn't have done this without you and I couldn't have asked for a better father for our children."

Several former contestants from Survivor shared their congratulations for Petty in the comments section. Maryanne Okecth, the winner of Survivor 42, exclaimed, "Oh so MOTHER mother!" Dee Valladares, the most recent champion, also chimed in with, "Congrats mama!!! ️️️️️."

Petty shared her pregnancy news with the world and then went on Instagram to thank everyone for their kind wishes. "Life is amazing," she posted on her Instagram Story, expressing her gratitude on Sunday. "Thank you all so much."

In a follow-up post, Petty posted a photo of her loose sundress that she had worn to hide her baby bump. She expressed her happiness at finally being able to share the news openly.

"I can now go to watch parties without having to hide this bump anymore, omg what a relief <3," she wrote. "Although, it was fun pretending to harbor a secret spy."

Petty is winning the hearts of fans on Survivor 46, the current season. She began her journey on the struggling Yanu tribe, known for enduring 11 days without flint, setting a new record. Despite the tough beginning, Petty has managed to make it to the final seven in Survivor 46. Alongside Q Burdette, she is one of the last two Yanu players still in the game.
