Happily, not all the connections made on The Bachelor remain confined to the show. While some couples have experienced both the joys and heartbreaks of love within the reality TV dating franchise, others have struck a chord with fellow members of Bachelor Nation once their season came to an end.

In November of 2021, Katie Thurston joined the exclusive group of off-camera Bachelor Nation couples. We confirmed her relationship with John Hersey, who she had sent home in week two of The Bachelorette season 17. This came after her broken engagement to Blake Moynes. Their relationship endured for over six months before they decided to part ways in June 2022.

See below for a list of former reality stars who have found love with other contestants from the popular ABC series.

Katie Thurston became part of the group of off-camera Bachelor Nation couples in November 2021 after confirming her relationship with John Hersey. She had sent him home in week two of The Bachelorette season 17 before her engagement to Blake Moynes ended. Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo

After their meeting in September 2021, Fuller and Grippo struck up a friendship. Several months later, Fuller ventured onto season 8 of BiP in search of her perfect match, where she eventually found love and got engaged to Johnny DePhillipo in June 2022. However, their relationship hit a rough patch during the airing of the series, leading to a breakup. Subsequently, Fuller and Grippo reconnected. Despite DePhillipo's claims of infidelity, Fuller, a contestant from season 24 of The Bachelor, maintained her innocence by asserting that she did not cross any boundaries.

The Bachelorette alumni had limited time to spend together during season 17 as Thurston eliminated Hersey in week two. However, their love story continued off camera. Just a month after announcing her separation from Blake Moynes in October 2021, we received confirmation that Thurston and Hersey were in a relationship. Their connection was subtly hinted at by the former bank marketing manager on Instagram in November 2021, where she dedicated Taylor Swift's "Begin Again" to her new partner. Unfortunately, the couple eventually decided to part ways in June 2022.

Victoria Fuller and Chris Soules

In May 2020, we reported that Soules, the Bachelor from season 19, and Fuller, a contestant from season 24 of The Bachelor, were in a relationship. They made their first public appearance as a couple in June 2020, in Fuller's hometown of Virginia Beach.

Three months later, however, Fuller confirmed that the twosome went their separate ways.

“I have no plans to relocate to Iowa in the near future, so my main priority right now is self-improvement. This year, I've dedicated a lot of my time and energy to others, but now I really want to concentrate on my own goals and aspirations," she shared during an interview on the “Viall Files” in September 2020. "I still maintain regular communication with him. I think he's absolutely amazing. We have many similarities, but for the time being, I simply need to focus on myself."

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick

The "Off the Vine" podcast host embarked on her journey to find love as a contestant on season 19 of The Bachelor in 2015, competing for the affection of Chris Soules. Despite finishing in third place, Bristowe later became the star of season 11 of The Bachelorette, where she found love and got engaged to Booth. Unfortunately, their relationship came to an end in November 2018 after three years together. Subsequently, Bristowe began a relationship with Tartick, a contestant from Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette in 2018. Excitingly, Bristowe announced in May 2021 that she and Tartick had gotten engaged after more than two years of being together. However, they ultimately decided to call off the engagement and shared the news of their breakup in August 2023.

DeAnna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano

Pappas was the star of season 4 of The Bachelorette in 2008, following her rejection by Brad Womack in 2011. Although she didn't end up with Jesse Csincsak, the recipient of her final rose, Pappas ultimately found her happily ever after with Stephen Stagliano, who was introduced to her by his brother Michael, a suitor on Jillian Harris' season. They got married in 2012 and are now parents to two children, daughter Addison and son Austin.

After more than 11 years of marriage, Pappas sadly announced that she and Stephen had decided to end their relationship. In a statement, she revealed, "It is with great sadness that Stephen and I have mutually agreed to separate as a couple. We have both put tremendous effort into our marriage and ourselves individually, but have ultimately concluded that it is best for us to go our separate ways."

Jesse Csincsak and Ann Lueders

After their initial appearances on The Bachelor and Bachelorette, the couple, now blessed with three children, initially sought everlasting happiness. Csincsak won Pappas' heart in 2008, but their relationship came to an end just four months after the finale aired. Lueders, on the other hand, was eliminated by Mesnick in the first week of his season a year earlier. However, their paths crossed at a Bachelor event hosted by a professional skateboarder in 2010, leading to their marriage that same year. Today, they are proud parents to two sons, Noah and Carter, as well as a daughter named Charlotte.
