Surprising Cancun Wedding Unites Bachelor Nation's Juelia Kinney and Aaron Bass: See the Captivating Photos!

Content: Juelia Kinney and Aaron Bass tied the knot in Cancún, Mexico, in an exclusive ceremony six years after first meeting. The wedding took place on Friday, June 30, and was attended by their loved ones, including Evan Bass, a former participant of The Bachelor season 19.

Aaron is the best. Prior to meeting him through Evan, I had never crossed paths with him. Our introduction took place at Evan and Carly Waddell's wedding in 2017. I was immediately struck by Aaron's tall, dark, and handsome appearance. I couldn't help but inquire, "Who are you?" To my surprise, he replied, "I'm Evan's brother." I had no prior knowledge of Evan having a brother. Hence, Aaron holds the title as the best in my eyes. Not only is he incredibly funny, but he is also an exceptional father. He possesses a gentle and kind nature, making him my dearest friend.

Aaron, who is a father to two sons from a previous relationship, made the decision to move from Nashville to San Diego to join me and my daughter, Ireland, who is ten years old. After getting engaged in 2018, we joyfully welcomed our son Van, who is now two.

"Ireland seems just as thrilled as me about the wedding," Kinney shared with Us on June 1. "Even the children are excited. It will be an incredibly enjoyable event."

Kinney further mentioned that their original plan was to have the wedding in Santa Barbara in June 2020, but they had to unfortunately cancel due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

"People constantly ask us, 'Aren't you already married?' and I respond, 'You would think so since we've been engaged for so long.' ... I refuse to plan another wedding. It's too much work," she explained. "Instead, we are simply going to Cancun for an all-inclusive getaway. They can give me flowers that I don't even care about, and that's how we're doing it!"

Meanwhile, Evan and Waddell ended their relationship in 2020. Although Kinney remains close to both Bachelor in Paradise alumni, who have two children together, Waddell shared in April that she would not be attending the wedding to ensure it remains the focus of Kinney's special day.

Six years after meeting in Mexico, Juelia Kinney and Aaron Bass wed in Cancún, We can exclusively reveal.

The 38-year-old alum from The Bachelor season 19, exchanged wedding vows with Bass on June 30 in the presence of their loved ones, including Bass's brother and fellow Bachelor Nation alum, Evan Bass.

Speaking on Us' "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast last month, Kinney fondly recalled their first meeting at Evan and Carly Waddell's wedding in 2017. "I had never met Aaron before, and we actually met at Evan and Carly's wedding," she shared. "When I saw Aaron standing there tall, dark, and handsome, I was intrigued. I had no idea Evan had a brother! Aaron turned out to be the best. He's not just funny, but also a great father and my closest friend."

Aaron, who previously had two sons, moved from Nashville to San Diego to be with Kinney and her 10-year-old daughter, Ireland. After getting engaged in 2018, the couple later welcomed their son, Van, who is now 2 years old.

Kinney further revealed that they had initially planned to tie the knot in Santa Barbara in June 2020. Unfortunately, due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, they were compelled to cancel their plans.

"People constantly ask if we're already married, and I reply, 'You would think so since we've been engaged for so long.' I'm not interested in planning another wedding. It requires too much effort," she explained. "Instead, we've decided to go to Cancun for an all-inclusive experience where they can hand me some flowers that I don't really care about. That's how we're going to do it!"

Evan and Waddell, on the other hand, ended their relationship in 2020. While Kinney remains close to both Bachelor in Paradise alumni, who have two children together, Waddell mentioned in April that she would not attend the wedding in order to avoid diverting attention from Kinney's special day.

"I don't want to create any discomfort for others by being there. We don't want the focus to shift. Instead, I plan to FaceTime her throughout the day while she prepares for the ceremony, and of course, I'll be enjoying some champagne," Waddell shared with Us. "This is Evan's brother, his family, and friends, so it's important to prioritize their presence."
