Former couple Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa once co-hosted Flip or Flop while still married in 2013. Despite announcing their separation in 2016, they continued working together on the show. However, tensions escalated years after their divorce, leading to reports of a heated argument on set in July 2021. The fallout ultimately led to Flip or Flop concluding after 10 seasons, less than a year later.

After their show "Good Bones" wrapped in October 2023, Mina Starsiak Hawk and Cory Miller, who costarred on the show, had a falling out. Hawk, who hosted the series, revealed in December 2023 that she cut Miller out of her life, expressing disappointment over the end of their previously strong relationship. She cited the falling out as an opportunity for her to make a different choice in her life.

The Biggest and Most Unexpected HGTV Feuds Over the Years: Costars, Rivals and More

HGTV, known for its feel-good content, sometimes has drama behind the scenes with its network personalities. Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa used to host Flip or Flop together while still married, but announced their separation in 2016. Despite this, they continued to work together on their series. However, things got worse after their divorce, with reports surfacing in July 2021 of the cohosts getting into a screaming match on set. Less than a year later, Flip or Flop ended after 10 seasons.

Mina Starsiak Hawk and Cory Miller, who appeared as one of the crew members on Good Bones, had a falling out following the show's conclusion in October 2023. In a December 2023 episode of her podcast "Mina AF," Hawk disclosed that she had chosen to cut Miller out of her life. She expressed disappointment over the situation, citing their previously strong relationship and the revealing of people's true colors in difficult circumstances.

Alison Victoria vs. Donovan Eckhardt

Tension arose between the Windy City Rehab costars when Eckhardt's developer's license was suspended in 2019, leading to on-screen drama during the 2020 season. In an episode from October 2020, Victoria reached her breaking point with Eckhardt and made the decision to end their partnership.

"I'm done with Donovan. He's out, because of his own actions," she declared. "I've lost a friend and business partner, but I believe this happened for a reason. I know I'm strong and will overcome this."

Christina Hall vs. Joanna Gaines

In 2018, rumors swirled that Hall and Gaines were feuding over their competing businesses. However, Hall squashed the speculation by sharing her support for Gaines’ success. 

Hall expressed her unwavering support for female entrepreneurs, declaring #girlboss as her motto, in a November 2018 post on Instagram. She also gave a shoutout to @joannagaines, emphasizing her immense respect and promoting #goodvibesonly.

‘Property Brothers’ vs. ‘Fixer Upper’

In 2017, rumors spread that Drew and Jonathan Scott were in a feud with Joanna and Chip Gaines. Drew confirmed to the New York Times that Joanna and Chip declined an invitation to appear on the Property Brothers’ spinoff series Brother vs. Brother. This news led some fans to believe that it was a slight against the real estate twins, but Drew clarified that there were no hard feelings.

"We know a lot of the [HGTV] talent really well," Drew told Fox News in May 2017. "Our show started airing in 2011 and over that time we've met [Chip and Joanna] once or twice. They were really nice."

Mina Starsiak Hawk vs. Cory Miller

Hawk shared that she and Miller were no longer on good terms in a December 2023 episode of her podcast.

"So, there's been enough speculation about Cory that I'm going to address this in a considerate manner once again, recognizing that I have a platform which he may not have. Cory and I are currently not in communication," she conceded. "I am certain that there are things he believes I have done to him, and I've known him since he was 11, and I've always had a special place in my heart for him."

Tarek El Moussa vs Christina Hall

In July 2021, reports emerged that the former costars had a heated argument on the set of Flip or Flop, during which El Moussa insulted Hall, referring to her as "crazy" and a "washed-up loser." El Moussa later acknowledged the stress of working with an ex during an interview with E!'s Daily Pop. Reflecting on the incident in September 2021, he expressed regret for the altercation, admitting that both parties said hurtful things and wished it had never occurred. He described the situation as unfortunate for everyone involved.

The exes no longer work together, but they amicably coparent daughter Taylor, born in 2010, and son Brayden, born in 2015.
