Surprise STALKER Trilogy Leak for Consoles Surfaces Online

A surprise console game bundle featuring the first three STALKER games has been spotted online. Despite their reputation for being buggy and chaotic, these late aughts shooter games have gathered a dedicated fanbase. GSC Game World, the Ukrainian developer, announced in 2021 that the STALKER series had sold 15 million copies worldwide, a testament to their complexity and atmosphere. Up until now, the games were only available on PC, but it looks like they will soon be making their debut on consoles with the upcoming release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl in 2024.

STALKER: Legends of the Zone Trilogy is set to be released on June 27 with a retail price of 6,578 Yen (around $44). However, it faced multiple delays due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. GSC Game World relocated its headquarters to the Czech Republic after the conflict began, but sadly, one former developer from the studio lost their life fighting in the war.

At the March 6 Xbox Partner Preview event, STALKER: Legends of the Zone Trilogy could be showcased alongside STALKER 2. This event will feature previews of over a dozen upcoming games for the PC, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass. Some of the confirmed titles making an appearance include Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and The First Berserker: Khazan.
