Despite his tendency to keep to himself, he falls victim to a class bully. When the bully's actions negatively impact his grades, he retaliates violently. The success of the K-drama has led to eager anticipation for Season 2, which is currently in production and will be available on Netflix. Here's what we know so far.
Weak Hero: Class 1 Season 2 – Is there a release date?
For now, there are no concrete details on a speculated release date for Season 2 of the K-drama.
The initial season premiered on Wavve as a K-drama original, but due to management issues, Weak Hero: Class 1 Season 2 is set to become a Netflix original. The change in streaming platforms has generated excitement among fans, as it will make the series more widely available globally.

Weak Hero: Class 1 Season 2 plot – What’s it about?
Season 2 of the K-drama will pick up Si-eun's story after the dramatic events of the season finale. The main character will have a fresh perspective on life following experiences of loss and violence.
As reported by Soompi, "Weak Hero Class 2 will continue to chronicle Yeon Si Eun's transition to Eunjang High School as he grapples with the trauma of being unable to protect a friend. In this new environment, Yeon Si Eun will undergo personal growth as he navigates survival and confronts heightened violence, determined not to lose his friends again."
Si-eun is devastated when his new friend is attacked by bullies and eventually becomes his enemy. Viewers sympathized with Si-eun, a social outcast who didn't value relationships or friendships. But Ahn Su-ho (Choi Hyun-wook) managed to enter his life after helping him several times during bullying incidents.
And then there's Oh Beom-seok (Hong Kyung), who betrays them both after believing Su-ho had abandoned him. Fed up, Si-eun breaks down and is held responsible for everything that occurred. He is forced to transfer to the only school that will take him, but the cycle of bullying continues when he encounters a new group of troublemakers. The finale also hints at the webtoon's main antagonist, a local gang leader.
