Bethesda's long-awaited game, Starfield, has finally arrived, bringing with it the beloved feature of home-buying and customization that fans enjoyed in previous titles like Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Unlike the separate gameplay element of Outposts, these homes provide players with a place to rest and store their equipment within the existing settlements of Starfield's world. The three main cities, New Atlantis, Akila City, and Neon, offer a selection of houses and apartments to choose from, with additional properties accessible through certain character traits chosen at the start of the game.

Among these cities, Akila City stands out as an attractive location to establish a permanent residence. This cowboy-themed town exudes a captivating blend of history and exploration, serving as a tribute to the pioneering spirit of the Coe family. With its collection of hobbyist robotics and ship-building enthusiasts, the town even evokes a nostalgic Tattooine-like atmosphere. Home to the Freestar Collective, Akila City boasts a range of useful stores and quests for players to enjoy, along with a vast desert landscape that becomes even more mesmerizing under the night sky. For those seeking to settle down in Akila City, there are two available homes conveniently offered by the same realtor.

To purchase a home in Akila City, players must initially approach Ngodup Tate, who can be found standing outside the Core Manor. The Manor is situated at the back of The Rock, past Midtown Minerals and the Freestar Collective Consulate, continuing past the Lance Estate and ascending the stairs. The distinctive features of the home include its garden with low walls, and it is positioned opposite the canvas-covered ruins at the back of The Rock on the Northern side of town.

By consulting with Ngodup, players can acquire the Core Manor for 78,000 Credits, which may initially seem expensive, especially since the property is sold without furnishings. However, Ngodup also offers a more affordable property for sale in The Stretch district of Akila City.

How To Buy The Stretch Apartment

The Stretch, located in Akila City, is a vibrant neighborhood bustling with shops and bars. Here, players have the chance to interact with a diverse range of characters and potential companions. Additionally, visitors can immerse themselves in the lively and artistic atmosphere of Honest Earl's Alien Extravaganza, which, despite its slightly run-down appearance, adds a unique charm to the area. Moreover, the player home available in this part of town offers a tranquil retreat, situated above the lively city streets yet still providing a sense of privacy and serenity.

The Stretch Apartment is also available for purchase from Ngodup Tate at a discounted price of 45,000 Credits, which is nearly half the cost of the Core Manor property. This residence is situated near Sinclair's Books and can be easily identified by the prominent "For Sale" sign showcased on its façade.

Starfield is currently accessible for both PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
