Bethesda's highly anticipated sci-fi RPG Starfield has finally released, immersing players into an expansive universe filled with captivating locations, quests, and characters. One of the standout additions to this universe is Neon, a groundbreaking cyberpunk city crafted by the studio. With its dazzling array of vibrant LED signs and relentless advertisements, Neon is a bustling hub where both prestigious corporate entities and nefarious underground figures converge. Situated in the Volii system on the planet Volii Alpha, this city serves as a vital trading nexus for multiple star systems and boasts a unique and prized species of hallucinogenic fish, which the locals utilize to create a potent narcotic known as Aurora.
Neon is divided into two distinct levels, showcasing the glaring divide between the upper and lower classes. The upper level encompasses notable landmarks such as Bayu Plaza, Ikuchi Market, Trade Tower, and Ryujin Industries Headquarters. Beneath these opulent structures lies Ebbside, a destitute district plagued by poverty and hardship. Within Neon, players have the opportunity to own two different properties, each exemplifying the contrasting realities experienced by the city's privileged and marginalized residents.
Sleep Crate
The Sleep Crate, the first and most affordable home option in Neon, may not be glamorous or situated in the most desirable location in the crime-ridden Ebbside district, which happens to be a stinky fish market. As a result, the Sleep Crate doesn't offer much space for players looking to furnish their homes extensively. However, it does come at an incredibly low price of 6,500 Credits for ownership, and can also be rented for smaller fees on a daily or weekly basis.
To acquire the Sleep Crate, players need to venture down to Ebbside and find the Sleep Crate vendor near the entrance of the lower district, adjacent to the Volii Hotel. There, players can interact with a vendor named Izna Sundararaman to purchase or rent the Sleep Crate. The house itself is located on the opposite side of Ebbside, close to the Euphorika lounge and the fish market.

Sky Suite
The Sky Suite, located in the Trade Tower in the Bayu Plaza district of Neon's main strip, is a residence that exudes opulence. Players can acquire this lavish home from the bartender at the Astral Lounge, a prominent nightclub situated at the base of Trade Tower. The journey to the Sky Suite involves departing the main entrance elevator and passing by notable establishments like the Volii Hotel and The Emporium.
With a price tag of 235,000 credits, the Sky Suite exceeds the cost of the Dream Home and stands as the most expensive property in the entire game. In return, players will enjoy a spacious penthouse boasting breathtaking views of the market and its surroundings. Although the property offers a sense of exclusivity and tranquility amidst the bustling and chaotic metropolis, it is worth noting that the views may not fully justify the steep price.
