Starfield players share hilarious moments of interrupted conversations and odd situations in the game, showcasing the game's unintentional humor.
In Starfield, players are discovering distinctive gameplay possibilities, such as acquiring advanced space suits and crafting innovative spaceships. Continuing Bethesda's legacy of immersive RPGs, Starfield presents an expansive science fiction journey that encourages exploration, the establishment of outposts, and the option to portray morally adaptable characters.
Starfield players share amusing videos of awkward conversations that are constantly interrupted by strange and glitchy occurrences. Bethesda's latest game, Starfield, stays true to its immersive RPG style, following in the footsteps of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Expanding upon the mechanics of its predecessors, Starfield invites players to embark on a sprawling sci-fi RPG adventure, boasting a staggering selection of over 1,000 planets to explore, the ability to establish outposts, interact with dynamic NPC characters, and mold their character to be virtuous or malevolent according to their desires.
Given the vastness of the game, Starfield offers countless opportunities for spontaneous gameplay, allowing players to tackle situations in different ways and utilize the game's versatile tools and mechanics to create distinct and remarkable experiences. Players have taken this opportunity to showcase their imaginative spacecraft designs, some drawing inspiration from other franchises, while others have managed to obtain high-level space suits much earlier than intended by Bethesda. Amusingly, players are now sharing moments when their conversations were unexpectedly interrupted or abruptly ended, often without any discernible explanation.
On the Starfield subReddit, players have been sharing short clips of conversations that took unexpected turns or featured strange occurrences. One of these clips, posted by welshscott5, showed a conversation with Peter about a potential job opportunity. Suddenly, a completely random NPC appeared from the left side of the screen and slowly backed away. This surprising moment caused welshscott5 to burst into uncontrollable laughter for a solid five minutes.
Another clip, shared by TORN4DO, depicted a player who was prepared for a boss battle instead of a conversation. As they approached the Crimson Fleet boss Brogan, the player launched a grenade before the conversation was triggered. However, the game still treated the grenade as active, resulting in the explosion hitting the canister behind Brogan during his opening speech. This unexpected turn of events wiped out all three Crimson Fleet pirates.
Starfield subReddit user YourBoyMillard engages in a conversation with Logan at a space bar in the final clip. After concluding the conversation, the player proceeds to the left and encounters a mysterious NPC called The Hunter. The Hunter bids farewell with the words "I'll see you around" and slowly fades away into the wall. Several commenters pointed out the similarity to the popular Homer Simpson meme, depicting him cautiously retreating into a large hedge.
Naturally, Bethesda games are renowned for their bugs, occasionally causing frustration, yet sometimes resulting in humorous situations. Recently, a user shared a bug related to Starfield, wherein their personally crafted starship only ejected the cockpit upon takeoff, leaving the rest of the ship on the landing pad. Despite the animation appearing normal, the cockpit portion was the sole component to ascend into space, rendering the majority of the ship unusable, even after attempting to reload a previous save.
Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
