To repair the Comms Computer in Starfield, players need to locate three Power Cells and place them into the Power Receptacles. After completing the conversation with Lin during the Back to Vectera Quest, proceed towards the orange door on the right. Activate the lever to open the door and enter the room. Take a left and open the folding door, revealing an office. Approach the desk and collect the Vectera Control Room Key.

Leave the office and make your way towards a different orange door. Once you reach the door, use the switch nearby to activate it. On the other side, you will find three empty Power Receptacles and the Vectera Control Room. Use the key to enter the room and interact with the broken Comms Computer. Alternatively, players can attempt to pick the lock on the door in Starfield to make progress in the Cyber Jockey Achievement. Interestingly, it is revealed that acquiring three Power Cells is necessary to activate the Comms Computer.

The trigger for returning to Vectera occurs when Sarah instructs players to locate Barrett at the conclusion of The Old Neighborhood Quest.

Approach the shelf next to the yellow Storage Crate and grab a Power Cell.

Head out of the compartment and interact with the robot up ahead to acquire a Power Cell.
