Players in Starfield are presented with numerous choices throughout the game, but, overall, most of these decisions have little impact in the grand scheme of things. However, there are a small number of choices that can have significant and irreversible consequences. One such critical decision arises towards the end of the main story mission, "High Price to Pay."
Once players return to the Lodge in New Atlantis, they receive distressing news that their companions on the Eye have been attacked by a Starborn entity called the Hunter. At this juncture, players are faced with a crucial choice: they can either stay and defend the Lodge or venture to the Eye and attempt to rescue their comrades. Regardless of which option players choose, dire consequences await.
