How to Unlock the UC Security Office Jail Cell

The UC Security Office is conveniently located next to The Well's entrance, making it one of the primary buildings that gamers will explore upon arriving at this location for the first time. Inside the building, players will discover a jail cell on the second floor, housing a prisoner who is locked away. Excitingly, curious gamers have the ability to unlock the cell door and set the prisoner free.

To gain access to the cell, players can try their luck picking the lock using a Digipick. However, it's important to note that this lock is quite challenging and may not be available to those still in the early stages of the game. As an alternative, gamers have the option to acquire the UC Security Well Key, which grants access to all locked doors within the building.

How to Get the UC Security Well Key

Gamers can try to pilfer the UC Security Well Key by acquiring the Theft Skill within the Social Skill Tree to gain the capability for pickpocketing.

As all the UC Security officers within this edifice carry a UC Security Well Key in their pockets, players can select any target without consequence.

To steal the UC Security Well Key, players should approach a UC Security Officer from behind while crouched, select the Pickpocket option, and then choose Steal UC Security - Well Key. The likelihood of successfully pickpocketing the officer increases when the player remains undetected and has a high Theft Skill. However, if gamers are detected, they will become wanted by authorities, making it considerably more challenging to reach the prison cell without being captured.

After acquiring the key, fans are required to approach the cell and choose the Unlock option. Surprisingly, freeing the prisoner does not yield any rewards. Conversely, there are no penalties whatsoever. Strangely, the freed individual will casually pass by all the guards in the facility and resume their normal activities.

The UC Security Well Key also grants access to the safes outside the door opposite the jail cell.
