Star Wars Galaxy Map Expands to Include Worlds From The Mandalorian, Yet Nevarro Continues to Be Absent

Discover the thrilling new Star Wars Galaxy Map showcasing worlds from The Mandalorian, but one key planet remains mysteriously absent Uncover the intriguing reason why Nevarro is missing from this epic galactic chart

Article Overview

The galaxy map of the Star Wars universe has been updated to include planets from The Mandalorian, but Nevarro is noticeably missing.

Nevarro is not included on the map due to its insignificance during the Dark Times era, which the sourcebook and map are based on. However, the growing importance of Nevarro as a hub for bounty hunting in The Mandalorian indicates that it will probably be featured on the map in the future, especially as the series continues.

The Star Wars galaxy map has been revealed, featuring numerous planets from The Mandalorian series - except for Nevarro. With various rims, sectors, and other components, piecing together each small planet and moon can be challenging. Since The Mandalorian premiered as Star Wars' first live-action TV show in 2019, there have been no significant updates to the galaxy map. Consequently, the new locations, particularly the crucial planet Nevarro, have remained a mystery. Although Star Wars has included many of these planets on the map, Nevarro has been left out.

The galaxy map in Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion by Pablo Hidalgo not only showcases familiar planets from other Star Wars Disney+ TV shows like Andor, but also introduces original planets from The Mandalorian that are connected to the post-Galactic Civil War narrative. While Nevarro is absent from the map, numerous other planets have found their place within the expansive galaxy.

There's A Reason Nevarro Isn't On This Galaxy Map

Star Wars Galaxy Map Expands to Include Worlds From The Mandalorian, Yet Nevarro Continues to Be Absent

Although Nevarro is a frequently visited planet in The Mandalorian, it was not considered noteworthy during the Dark Times, which is the era depicted in the sourcebook for this new galaxy map. This aligns with the fact that Nevarro was not highlighted as a significant bounty hunting hub in The Mandalorian either, as the main hub during the Galactic Civil War was on Tatooine, as shown in A New Hope. It is plausible that Nevarro only gained recognition on the map due to the actions of Din Djarin and Greef Karga, who were able to improve the planet after eliminating most of the Imperial presence in The Mandalorian season 1.

The galaxy still wonders about Nevarro's position, even though it has been almost four years since its introduction. With Din and his apprentice and adopted son Grogu residing there, Nevarro will undoubtedly find a significant role in the Star Wars galaxy soon, particularly as The Mandalorian-era reaches its climax. As of now, the central planet of The Mandalorian continues to be shrouded in secrecy.

Editor's P/S

As a Star Wars fan, I am excited to see the expansion of the Star Wars Galaxy Map to include worlds from The Mandalorian. This new map provides a more comprehensive view of the galaxy and its many planets, and it is great to see that the creators of the show are taking the time to flesh out the world-building.

However, I am disappointed that Nevarro is not included on the map. Nevarro is a key planet in The Mandalorian, and it is home to some of the show's most iconic characters. I understand that the map is based on the Dark Times era, and Nevarro was not a significant planet during that time. However, I believe that the planet's importance in The Mandalorian warrants its inclusion on the map.

Overall, I am pleased with the new Star Wars Galaxy Map, and I am excited to see how it continues to evolve as the show progresses. I hope that Nevarro will be added to the map in the future, as it is an important part of the Star Wars galaxy.
