Will Hemmer (& Bruce Horak) Return In Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2?

In season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Captain Christopher Pike's Starship Enterprise welcomes a new Chief Engineer, Commander Pelia, portrayed by Carol Kane. Pelia, a Lanthanite with a unique personality and extraordinary longevity, previously served as an instructor at Starfleet Academy, teaching Hemmer engineering. However, it has been suggested by the executive producer Henry Alonso Myers that Bruce Horak will be returning in season 2, playing a new character despite Hemmer's demise.
