Nintendo has announced that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, the sequel to Luigi's first haunted adventure, will be receiving a visually-enhanced version for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles. The recent Nintendo Direct event made numerous exciting announcements for fans of both the Luigi's Mansion series and the Super Mario franchise as a whole.

Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (known as Luigi's Mansion 2 in other regions) offers a spooky yet lighthearted action-adventure experience. With more secrets to discover and ghosts to capture, it quickly became beloved by Nintendo fans. However, the spotlight has since been taken by the immensely popular Luigi's Mansion 3, which introduced a co-op campaign and a series of multiplayer mini-games for fans to enjoy competitive play.
