The beloved sitcom aired from 1996 to 2003, featuring Melissa Joan Hart as the main character. It became famous for its Halloween-themed episodes, which were included in six out of the seven seasons. The series provided exactly what viewers expected and deserved from a show centered around a teenage witch, her two aunts, and their talking cat named Salem.
Sabrina's Halloween episodes gained a reputation for their amusing plotlines, magical hijinks, and spectacular Halloween parties. However, there was one iconic figure that Hart, the actress, wished had been able to make a guest appearance: Elvira.
Hart expressed confusion as to why they did not include her on the show, finding it odd. In October 2021, she mentioned to E! News, "I should have organized a Halloween party or collaborated with Elvira for some spooky fun, but it never materialized." Despite not always enjoying her role as Sabrina on screen, Hart cherished being involved in the production and particularly enjoyed shooting the yearly October special.
During an October 2022 episode of her "What Women Binge" podcast, Hart shared that the set of Sabrina was always lively and engaging, courtesy of the talented writers, cast, and crew. ‘A Halloween Story’: Season 1, Episode 5
At the Spellman household, Halloween holds great significance, however, Sabrina finds herself entangled in different obligations. Despite the importance of this day, she decides to prioritize attending Harvey's party instead. To solve this dilemma, Salem, the talking cat voiced by Nick Bakay, proposes the idea of using a clone spell, enabling Sabrina to be in two places simultaneously. Nonetheless, there is a catch - her clone is only capable of uttering three specific phrases.
The genuine Sabrina attends a family event and encounters troublemaker cousin Amanda (portrayed by Melissa’s real-life sister Emily Hart), while also forming a connection with her deceased grandmother (Alice Ghostley). Meanwhile, Salem, her feline companion, reunites with a long-lost love. Everything appears to be going smoothly with her clone until it unexpectedly agrees to streak naked at Harvey’s festive gathering. Fortunately, the real Sabrina intervenes just in the nick of time and blames the streaking incident on her rival, Libby (Jenna Leigh Green).

‘A River of Candy Corn Runs Through It’: Season 2, Episode 7
After not receiving an invitation to Libby’s Halloween party, Sabrina and her best friend Valerie decide to host their own celebration. Sabrina’s aunts, Hilda and Zelda, eagerly assist in bringing the event to fruition. However, their enthusiasm inadvertently results in a magical chaos involving animated furniture, an excessive amount of candy corn, and eerie creatures coming alive.
Sabrina is convinced that she has been deliberately targeted for social destruction, but her fellow classmates dismiss the consequences as fake and commend her for hosting an unforgettable Halloween bash. Additionally, the renowned band 10,000 Maniacs will be performing, guaranteeing an amazing experience.

‘Good Will Haunting’: Season 3, Episode 6

While Hilda and Zelda are begrudgingly attending their Aunt Beulah's "dull" Halloween party, Sabrina successfully avoids it. However, her decision to skip out comes back to haunt her, quite literally, when she receives a haunting Molly Dolly as punishment from Beulah.
The doll, Frankenstein, and a mummy start terrorizing Sabrina, her friends, and a frightened Salem. Meanwhile, Hilda and Zelda become trapped at the party, taking place in an insane asylum.
Eventually, Sabrina manages to save her aunts, although they are transformed into chickens before that. Beulah, however, orders the doll to cease its haunting, but unfortunately, it is too late as Sabrina's friends are already scared and fleeing for their lives.
‘The Phantom Menace’: Season 4, Episode 6
Sabrina encounters The Walking Dead? Salem narrates once more as Sabrina realizes she's reached an age where Halloween celebrations no longer appeal to her. Opting for a late shift at her recently acquired position as a barista, she is reminded by Hilda and Zelda that witches are unable to elude the holiday's presence, regardless of their efforts.
Sabrina's aunts, preoccupied with dinner guest Edgar Allen Poe, ultimately prove to be correct when a pack of zombies corner Sabrina inside the coffee shop. Fortunately, these undead creatures are merely seeking to join in the revelry, solidifying Sabrina's reputation as the ultimate Halloween party host.
Although Sabrina is left with the task of cleaning up, her boss and potential love interest, Josh (David Scott Lascher), grants her a pass. "Halloween is meant to be enjoyable," he declares.

Sabrina, now in college, is determined to impress her friends with the most unforgettable Halloween party ever during spooky season. Taking advantage of her aunts' absence, she organizes the event at their house and even arranges for actual monsters to attend. However, her plan takes an unexpected turn when she finds herself playing the role of a couples therapist for Frankenstein and his bride. Sabrina successfully persuades her pals to join her for an unforgettable Halloween experience aboard a Mystery Train that, unbeknownst to them, originates from the Other Realm.
Sabrina must conceal her magical abilities from her friends, but she is entrusted with the responsibility of unraveling the enigma. Failure to do so would mean subjecting her mortal companions to endure the train's happenings indefinitely.
