Solo Stove has announced Snoop Dogg as their official brand ambassador for their smokeless fire pit, according to a press release. This partnership comes after Snoop Dogg's recent announcement that he is giving up smoking. Contrary to speculations about his pot usage, Snoop Dogg's mysterious social media post was actually a hint at his collaboration with Solo Brands. With the Solo Stove, Snoop Dogg can now enjoy a fire pit without experiencing any coughing or having his clothes smell like smoke.
According to Ad Age, Solo Stove's inaugural nationwide marketing campaign, which encompasses a 30-second television commercial and various social media, podcast, out-of-home, and digital components, was created by The Martin Agency.
As part of the partnership, Snoop Dogg will collaborate with the company to enhance product innovation and contribute to the creation of a distinctive line of merchandise. Currently available for purchase at $349.99, a limited-edition bundle features a fire pit crafted by Snoop, along with a fire pit stand, bucket hat, and sticker pack.
"We are extremely excited to have a product of such high quality that it inspired Snoop to support our smokeless approach," stated John Merris, CEO of Solo Brands. "As the leading smokeless fire pit globally, Solo Stove aims to bring people together, fostering an environment that encourages relaxation and enjoyment of time spent with loved ones."
Many people believed that Snoop's enigmatic social media post earlier this month was connected to an upcoming marketing event, given his extensive experience as a brand ambassador. Throughout the years, the former gangsta rapper has been featured in advertisements for various brands such as Pepsi, Hot Pockets, Burger King, Dunkin', T-Mobile, Old Navy, and Wonderful Pistachios. In the year 2023 alone, he has collaborated with Grubhub, Corona, Jack in the Box, and BIC. Notably, the BIC campaign included a virtual scavenger hunt and out-of-home activation tied to the cannabis-themed holiday, 4/20.
