Solange Knowles' Son Julez Turns 19 in Style - Grandma Tina Knowles Captures Unforgettable Birthday Bash!

Solange Knowles' son, Daniel Julez, is now a fully-grown young man - and he's marking his 19th birthday in impressive fashion.
"Happy Birthday Julez! And congratulations on your graduation! We adore you and couldn't be prouder," Solange's mother, Tina Knowles, expressed on Instagram on Friday, October 20. "This is the rendition of 'Happy Birthday' with a multitude of singers. The party was amazing - you really nailed it, @solangeknowles! ️️️."
In her Instagram caption, Tina expressed her love for her eldest grandson as she shared footage from his birthday bash. The guests sang a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday" while Julez, wearing a black tee with a silver chain, blew out the candles.
Solange, at the age of 37, gave birth to her son in 2004. She shares her son with her ex-husband, Daniel Smith. Solange became a mother to Julez when she was 18, which was almost three years before her divorce from Smith.
In a February 2017 interview with Elle, Solange, who is the younger sister of Beyoncé, opened up about her experience as a young mother. She described it as one of the most bittersweet moments of her life. Despite being deeply in love with Julez, she felt isolated and lonely, especially because she spent a significant amount of time on the road. Solange longed for stability and the opportunity to bond with her son. However, she found herself facing challenges and doubting her ability to advance in her career.
Julez also grew up close to his cousins. Beyoncé, 42, shares daughter Blue Ivy, 11, and twins Sir and Rumi, 7, with her husband, Jay-Z.
"Solange jokingly remarked to New York Magazine in 2012 that Blue and Julez will grow up more like siblings rather than cousins. She mentioned that Blue often visits, and she takes care of Julez while Beyoncé occasionally takes him for the weekend. For Julez, spending time with Beyoncé, an accomplished Grammy winner, is simply a regular family reunion."
"I don't discuss my family, as you might already know," the teenager expressed in an August TikTok video that has now been deleted. "To me, messaging one's aunt is something everyone does. Beyoncé happens to be my aunt, just like how your aunt is simply your aunt."
Following her separation from Julez's father, Smith, Solange found love again with director Alan Ferguson. They exchanged vows in 2014 but eventually parted ways in 2019.
