Ana Cruz Kayne, who plays Supreme Court Justice Barbie, hinted at a conflict between the Barbies and their iconic Ken counterparts while discussing which items she was tempted to take from the film's set, in an interview with Screen Rant. Ana Cruz Kayne: Without revealing too much, the Kens have recently revamped our dream homes, which I must say, comes across as quite impolite. In the process, there may or may not have been a significant presence of horses. Notably, I managed to acquire a minuscule horse figurine. Curiously, my feline friend has taken a fancy to it, leaving its current whereabouts a mystery. At times, I find myself wondering, "What is she playing with?" only to realize it's my miniature Ken horse.

Thanks to the release of new trailers which provide more details about the plot of Barbie, it appears that the majority of the action will take place in the real world. However, considering that most of the renowned cast members are portraying either Barbie or Ken, it can be assumed that sufficient time will be dedicated to Barbie Land in order to justify the presence of these actors. It is likely that Margot Robbie's Barbie will spend a significant portion, approximately 25 or 30 minutes, in Barbie Land during the initial act of the movie before embarking on her adventure in the real world.

The writers of the film, Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, are both renowned for their distinct storytelling techniques and individual visions. While there is some information about the plot available, it is highly probable that there are numerous unexpected plot twists yet to unfold. Whether or not Barbie eventually returns to Barbie Land during the course of the movie is uncertain.
