Jeremy “JR” Robinson revealed that he and Tamar Braxton have ended their engagement after seven months.
In a detailed statement on his Instagram Story on October 1, Robinson shared, “Tamar and I are no longer together. I made the decision to end the relationship in order to prioritize my personal growth and cultivate a more positive mindset. The reasons behind our separation will remain private to us.”
He maintained, "I never cheated nor was I present during the burglary of her car at her mother's house. Fame has never been a concern of mine." Robinson and 46-year-old Braxton crossed paths on the inaugural season of Queens Court, a dating show featured on the Peacock network earlier this year. Evelyn Lozada, a former cast member of Basketball Wives, and singer Nivea were also participants on the show in pursuit of finding love alongside Braxton.

"I was in a great state financially and mentally, to be honest. I resisted the idea of joining Queens Court multiple times until I eventually gave in. Unfortunately, the outcome didn't align with my desires as I fell in love. Right now, my main focus is healing. Tamar and I will forever be friends and family."
Regarding the season finale that was aired in March, Robinson popped the question to Braxton.
"I prayed for someone who would truly comprehend me, without judgment or focus on my imperfections, and simply embrace me for who I am," Braxton revealed in the climactic season finale, just before Robinson performed a heartwarming proposal. "And then, I crossed paths with you. In you, I discovered every single aspect that I had fervently prayed for since childhood."
Expressing his unwavering commitment, Robinson assured Braxton that he was both "prepared" and "eager" to become her husband. Following the conclusion of the show's filming, it was confirmed six months later that the couple remained united and actively preparing for their impending wedding.
After the filming, Robinson faced criticism when it came to light that he has children with four different women. However, Braxton, who has a son named Logan, aged 10, with her ex-partner Vincent Herbert, was unperturbed by the news. Instead, she expressed her admiration for Robinson through a heartfelt tribute on her birthday in March.
"On my birthday, I can't help but share my appreciation for the person who brings so much joy to my life," she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram video caption. "It took me some time to realize that this genuine and traditional love is exactly what I wanted and needed. We have a total of six children, and they mean the world to me."
Following Braxton's post, a former partner of Robinson's came forward, alleging that the singer is responsible for "nothing but chaos."
In a March Instagram post, Anaston Jeni expressed her dissatisfaction, stating that Braxton does not prioritize her son and has not shown gratitude towards her or any of Robinson's other former partners. She further accused Braxton of making derogatory, disrespectful, and extreme remarks about her co-parenting arrangements with Robinson and the efforts she has made to ensure his involvement in their son's life.
