Jamie Lynn Spears is making it clear her father is not staying with her during his health scare.
“Outside of work, the only people I see are my family members who live with me, including my husband, Ivey, Maddie, two dogs, and one cat. Haha,” wrote the 32-year-old actress on her Instagram Story. This message was shared alongside the quote, “Nothing is more peaceful than not having an interest in anyone,” and comes after a report from the Daily Mail that Jamie Lynn’s father, Jamie Spears, is staying in their family’s guest house in Louisiana. According to Page Six, the 71-year-old Spears patriarch, who was in charge of Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship for 13 years, has been recovering in an outpatient facility specializing in infectious disease following a health issue. In 2019, Jamie was hospitalized for a life-threatening colon rupture. (We have contacted Jamie’s team for comment.)
Jamie Lynn is still feeling the impact of her elimination from Dancing With the Stars last week. Following her departure from the dancing competition during week 2, she took to Instagram to address the disapproval expressed by passionate individuals. She expressed gratitude for the immense support and love, emphasizing that despite the loss, she cherishes the incredible experience and eagerly anticipates witnessing the remaining contestants and their partners excel each week.
Almost a week later, Jamie Lynn couldn't resist making light of her brief yet enjoyable stint on a dance show. On Monday, October 9, she shared a video on her Instagram Story of a woman instructing hip-hop, with the caption "After just 2 weeks on a dance show."
Before the debut of DWTS season 32, Bersten, 29, revealed exclusively to We that Jamie Lynn's children were filled with "great pride" when they saw their mother on the show. (The star of Sweet Magnolias has a daughter, Maddie, 15 years old, with her ex Casey Aldridge, and a daughter, Ivey, 5 years old, with her husband Jamie Watson).
"Jamie Lynn is an exceptional mother, and she is involved in their lives so much that I sometimes accompany her," the dancer shared with Us last month. He also disclosed that he had attended Maddie's pre-homecoming festivities and a softball game with the family.
