Tottenham defender Destiny Udogie was subjected to racist abuse on Instagram after their 2-1 victory over Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Italian played the entire 90 minutes as Spurs controversially defeated Jurgen Klopp's team, with VAR failing to correctly award Liverpool a goal they deserved.
The PGMOL recently issued an official apology for disallowing Luis Diaz's first-half goal for offside.
Following the match, Udogie received abusive comments on Instagram under the image he posted celebrating the victory, accompanied by the caption "Romans 8:31".
Tottenham have since issued a statement to say they are "disgusted" with the messages directed at Udogie, and intend to take action against any individual found responsible.
