Former San Antonio Spurs player Joshua Primo has been suspended for four games without pay by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The league's investigation revealed that Primo engaged in conduct detrimental to the league by exposing himself to women. After conducting an independent investigation and consulting with experts, the NBA concluded that Primo's behavior was inappropriate and offensive.

Primo argues that his actions were unintentional and the league did not find any evidence of him being involved in any sexual or other inappropriate behavior apart from these minor incidents. However, this behavior does not align with the standards set by the league and calls for disciplinary action.

CNN has contacted Primo's lawyer for a statement regarding the suspension.

Former San Antonio Spurs psychologist agrees to settle after accusing former player of exposing himself during therapy sessions

The Spurs ended Primos' contract in October following accusations by a former team-contracted sports psychologist. The psychologist claimed that the player exposed himself to her during therapy sessions. Primos' attorney denied the allegations at the time.

The criminal investigations division of the Bexar County Sheriffs Office has filed a criminal case against Primo for indecent exposure with the district attorneys office in May. Currently, the case is being reviewed by the Bexar County District Attorneys Office.

The psychologist sued the Spurs in November 2022, alleging that the leadership of the organization did not take action despite her repeated complaints about Primo's inappropriate sexual behavior. According to her attorney, the lawsuit was resolved in November. Since being released by the Spurs, Primo has not participated in the NBA.
