Shiv Could Still Win Out Over Her Siblings, But She'll Need Tom
Shiv's ultimate aspiration in Succession was to outshine her siblings and secure the position of CEO at Waystar Royco. Unfortunately, when that opportunity slipped away, she resorted to sabotaging her brother Kendall's chances of becoming CEO, ultimately leaving her husband Tom in charge. Although Shiv's immediate future appears grim after the events of the finale, she still possesses the potential to emerge victorious over both Roman and Kendall.
Despite not being the CEO in the end of Succession, Shiv has an advantageous position compared to her brothers. She still has a connection to Waystar Royco through her husband, whom she was seen leaving with in the final moments of the finale. In contrast, Kendall and Roman appear to be completely disconnected and directionless. The extent of Shiv's advantage depends on her husband's willingness to collaborate, given their tumultuous relationship. Additionally, there is uncertainty about Tom's actual power as CEO, considering Lukas Matsson's control over the company following the merger with GoJo.
