Around 760 flights were canceled at Munich Airport on Saturday due to heavy snowfall, causing significant disruption to travelers

Munich Airport spokesperson informed CNN that approximately 760 flights were canceled on Saturday due to heavy snowfall. Additionally, Munich's public transport company reported the suspension of buses, trams, and some train services in the city due to the snow.

Arrivals at Munich's central train station have been temporarily closed, and long-distance services have been completely suspended, as announced by Deutsche Bahn, Germany's national railway company. The company has warned that rail traffic will be severely impacted until Monday.

Germany's regional Sueddeutsche Zeitung reported that a large number of travelers have been stranded at the main station in Munich.

"I've been stuck here since one in the morning," one passenger told the publication, while another said, "All we want to know is if there's still a possibility of leaving this place."
