Are There Any Unique Rewards for Beating the Demo?

Final Fantasy fans have been eagerly awaiting the next main entry in the series since the release of Final Fantasy 15 in 2016. While there have been spin-offs, DLCs, and expansions for Final Fantasy 14, as well as the first part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, the wait for Final Fantasy 16 is almost over. Excitingly, Square Enix has released a demo for the game, allowing players to explore the world of Valisthea and embark on Clive's adventure ahead of the official release. However, some are curious if progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game.

Does Final Fantasy 16 Demo Progress Carry Over?

In a departure from previous Final Fantasy game demos, players of Final Fantasy 16 will be pleased to learn that their progress will carry over to the full game upon release next week. The demo provides a glimpse into the opening of the game, delivering approximately two and a half hours of gameplay, and offers players an opportunity to witness Clive's formative years and the events that shaped him into the man he is in the present day. Additionally, the demo offers a comprehensive combat tutorial and the ability to select the desired level of difficulty.

Players can continue to enjoy the Final Fantasy 16 demo even after completing the prologue, thanks to a unique combat-focused section of the game that becomes available. With a significant boost in level and abilities, players can fully explore Clive's powers with the help of some party members. However, progress made in this section cannot be carried over to the full game. Nevertheless, it provides a taste of the combat mechanics that players can expect to encounter later on.

Are There Any Unique Rewards for Beating the Demo?

While players might have hoped to receive some advantageous rewards or impressive cosmetics for completing the Final Fantasy 16 demo, unfortunately, there are no such perks. The only bonuses players can expect to receive are the pre-order bonuses and any digital extras that come with the Digital Deluxe/Collector's Edition of the game.
