In Episode 7 of The Boys, characters crossed over into Gen V. Grace Mallory, the previous deputy director of the CIA and founder of The Boys, encountered Dean Shetty. It was revealed that Victoria Neuman, the vice presidential candidate, was the one who had been supporting Marie. Shetty's backstory involved the tragic loss of her family on Transoceanic Flight 37, the same flight in which Homelander and Queen Maeve were presumed dead in Season 1.
As a result of these connections, many fans of Gen V have speculated about a forthcoming significant link between the two shows. Fazekas has somewhat confirmed this theory.
“It's a cliffhanger on multiple levels," Fazekas stated, "not only for our second season, but also for The Boys' fourth season. There's a definite curiosity about what comes next!"
Fazekas emphasized that Vought is consistently portrayed as the primary antagonist and should never be underestimated. In the finale, viewers will be sharply reminded of this fact.
However, the showrunner remained secretive when asked about the possibility of a Gen V student switching allegiances to join The Boys’ universe.
