What is 'Letterkenny'?
The fictional small town of Letterkenny gets its name from a long-abandoned ghost town located in rural Ontario. It draws inspiration from creator Jared Keeso's hometown of Listowel, Ontario. The show revolves around Wayne, a stoic farmer played by Keeso, his lively sister Katy portrayed by Michelle Mylett, and their friends Dary and Squirrelly Dan, played by Nathan Dales and K. Trevor Wilson respectively. Together, they embark on laid-back adventures within and outside their unhurried community. The ensemble cast of the show features various residents of Letterkenny, such as the eccentric skids led by the melodramatic Stuart, played by Tyler Johnston. There are also the frequently-intoxicated and sexually explorative Mr. and Mrs. McMurray, portrayed by Dan Petronijevic and Melanie Scrofano, as well as the rapacious bartender Gail, played by Lisa Cordington. Reilly and Jonesy, two hockey players from the local team who aren't particularly successful, are portrayed by Dylan Playfair and Andrew Herr. Additionally, the show introduces the residents of the nearby Native reservation, including Tanis, Wayne's intermittent love interest, played by Kaniehtiio Horn.

Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z fan, I'm both excited and sad to hear that the 12th season of Letterkenny will be its last. On the one hand, I'm thrilled to see how the show wraps up and what the final storylines will be. On the other hand, I'm sad to see the end of such a great show.
I've been a fan of Letterkenny since the beginning, and I've loved watching the characters grow and develop over the years. I'm particularly attached to the characters of Wayne, Katy, and Daryl. I think they're all hilarious and relatable, and I've enjoyed watching them navigate the ups and downs of life in Letterkenny.
I'm also a big fan of the show's humor. I think it's clever and well-written, and I always find myself laughing out loud when I watch it. I appreciate that the show doesn't take itself too seriously and that it's not afraid to push the boundaries of what's considered acceptable.
Overall, I'm really excited to see how Letterkenny ends. I'm sure it will be a bittersweet experience, but I'm confident that the show will go out on a high note.
