Sheinelle Jones, the host of the third hour of Today, stepped in for Savannah Guthrie during the first two hours of the NBC morning show on Monday, April 22. Hoda Kotb mentioned that Guthrie was "taking some time off today," without giving details about the reason for her absence.

Guthrie, who is 52 years old, has not yet mentioned her break on social media. On Monday's episode of Today, Craig Melvin made his return after being absent the entire previous week.

Before her break, Guthrie gave her followers a peek into her weekend on Instagram.
