Contrary to speculation, Sasuke Uchiha has not transformed into an Otsutsuki. Chapter 4 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex unveils the revelation that those who were transformed into trees were seemingly reborn as "Shinju." Previously, the "Shinju" had exploited the lives of Earth's inhabitants to create the Chakra fruit. However, these beings have now deteriorated to some extent and have developed individual consciousness after being awakened by Code.
This is evident from the fact that three out of the four "Shinju" resemble Sasuke, Bug, and Moegi in both appearance and chakra nature. Although Moegi's transformation into a tree is still unconfirmed, the resemblance of the Shinju's appearance and chakra nature strongly suggests the same.

There are several hints that suggest the individual resembling Sasuke may not be Sasuke's "Shinju." However, the Shinju bears a striking resemblance to Sasuke and shows similar traits in physical appearance and chakra utilization. Fans observed the "Shinju" performing a lightning release jutsu, possibly Chidori, and notably using their left arm, reminiscent of Sasuke before he lost his arm. Therefore, it is plausible to consider that Sasuke Uchiha has transformed into a "Shinju" rather than an Otsutsuki.
What can fans expect from Sasuke becoming a "Shinju?"

Sasuke's transformation into a "Shinju" could potentially lead to Boruto battling against his master's alternate self. Additionally, the fact that his "Shinju" form possesses two arms suggests that he may be even more powerful than his current state as a tree. Boruto's initial suspicion of the Sasuke-lookalike "Shinju" hints at his eventual need to confront and defeat him, before turning his attention towards their leader, who bears a resemblance to Jigen.
Alternatively, there is a chance that Sarada Uchiha might be the one tasked with defeating her father's alter ego. With Boruto already burdened with numerous responsibilities, this scenario presents an intriguing possibility for readers to anticipate in the manga's future.
Editor's P/S
As an enthusiastic fan, I am thrilled to see Sasuke make his return in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 4, albeit in an unexpected form. The revelation that he has transformed into a "Shinju" rather than an Otsutsuki adds a new layer of intrigue to the story. The concept of "Shinju," beings that were once used to create the Chakra fruit and have now been reborn, opens up a lot of possibilities for the future of the series.
The idea of Sasuke battling against his own alternate self is an exciting prospect. It will be interesting to see how Boruto and Sarada handle this new threat and how their relationships with Sasuke will be affected. The potential for character growth and development is immense, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in future chapters.
