Sarah Ferguson is celebrating World Health Day by sharing a meaningful message about self-care. In light of her and Princess Kate Middleton's cancer battles, Ferguson took to Instagram on Sunday, April 7 to urge everyone to prioritize their mental and physical well-being.

"I want to encourage everyone to take a moment to check in with themselves," Ferguson, 64, wrote in her post. "Listen to your mind and listen to your body. Your health is important."

Make sure to prioritize your health by attending your regular check-ups, going for a walk, and taking time to relax with a good book. Remember to show love to both your body and mind.

In January, it was announced that the Duchess of York had been diagnosed with skin cancer, just months after she had a mastectomy. She had previously battled and successfully overcome early-stage breast cancer, which she revealed in December of the following year.

A representative for Ferguson shared that her dermatologist recommended removing and analyzing several moles while she underwent reconstructive surgery after her mastectomy. Unfortunately, one of the moles was found to be cancerous. Despite the distressing news, Ferguson remains in good spirits.

The royal family is facing a challenging time as Ferguson, previously married to Prince Andrew, is one of three members of The Firm currently battling cancer. Alongside Ferguson, Kate, 42, and King Charles III have also been diagnosed with cancer. The type of cancer they are facing has not been disclosed, but both are receiving treatment.

Ferguson shared her support for the Princess of Wales on Instagram on March 25, following Kate's announcement about her health. She expressed her belief that the Princess will receive love from her family and prayers for a positive outcome.

Having faced her own cancer battles, Ferguson commended the Princess for openly discussing her diagnosis. She emphasized the importance of raising awareness and hoped that the Princess would now be able to focus on healing in peace and privacy.

Ferguson and Charles attended the royals’ annual Easter Mattins service in Windsor, England on March 31. Kate and Prince William did not attend the service due to her illness. There is no information yet on when Princess Diana will return to her public duties.
