Craig Inglis has departed from his position as executive vice president, global brand and integrated marketing at Sage, the B2B financial tech company, after a mere 16 months.
Inglis became a part of the firm in June last year, following his 12-year tenure as the marketing boss at John Lewis. He left this role in 2020 and proceeded to establish a consultancy business. In addition, he took on the position of non-executive chair at the Marketing Society.
In 2008, he initially joined John Lewis as the head of brand communications and eventually progressed to become the marketing director in 2010. By 2015, Inglis was appointed to the board as the customer director. Prior to his time at John Lewis, Inglis spent ten years at Virgin Trains, where his final position held was sales and marketing director.
At Sage, Inglis received widespread recognition for his contribution to the brand makeover and his advocacy for robust marketing strategies, along with CMO Kath Ceers and the rest of the marketing team.
Upon his arrival at the B2B company, Inglis expressed his complete fascination with Sage's mission to eliminate obstacles hindering progress and become the advocate for small and medium-sized businesses- the backbone of global economies.
