Sadio Mane has officially transferred from Bayern Munich to Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, securing a staggering weekly salary of £650,000.

Under the terms of his new contract, Mane is tied to the club until 2027, with the potential to accumulate a remarkable overall earnings of approximately £136m if he remains with Al Nassr for the entirety of the agreement.

The 31-year-old recently became a part of Bayern, signing a three-year agreement for £35m after transferring from Liverpool. However, his standing within the team diminished after he physically confronted his teammate, Leroy Sane, following a Champions League loss to Manchester City in April.

Mane faced consequences for being dropped from the squad and was fined after Bayern secured their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title. Throughout the season, the winger showcased his talent, scoring an impressive 12 goals in 38 appearances.

Despite being included in Bayern's pre-season tour of Asia, Mane was overlooked for Saturday's friendly against Kawasaki Frontale in Tokyo.

"Sadio Mane is currently engaged in discussions regarding a potential transfer and hence, is not listed in today's squad," Bayern stated.

Mane bid farewell to Anfield after featuring in 269 matches, netting 120 goals across various competitions, following his arrival from Southampton in 2016.

Bayern Munich initially spent £27.5m to acquire the Senegal forward, with an additional £7.5m in potential bonuses. During his tenure of six years at Anfield, he achieved success by winning various prestigious titles such as the Premier League, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup.
