Samsung has not abandoned the S Pen, despite discontinuing the Galaxy Note lineup. Along with the regular S Pen included in Galaxy S Ultra smartphones, there is also the S Pen Pro, which is compatible with various tablets and smartphones. Now, Samsung has released the S Pen Creator Edition, its most advanced S Pen yet. While initially announced with the Galaxy Tab S9 series, it was not immediately available for purchase. However, Samsung has now made the brand-new S Pen available for purchase, and it shows great potential.

The recently released S Pen from the company is touted as their most advanced version yet. Interestingly, it does not include air actions like its predecessors. However, it compensates for this omission by offering a range of other impressive features. These include enhanced tilt sensitivity for a more immersive drawing or writing experience, improved precision, and a handy button that can interact seamlessly with any application you choose. Additionally, it boasts an IPX4 rating, making it resilient enough to withstand occasional splashes. While not specifically designed as a direct replacement for your usual S Pen, it does serve as a formidable competitor to the Apple Pencil; Apple's acclaimed solution for drawing and note-taking. While there are a couple of drawbacks when compared to the familiar S Pen, it presents an excellent tool for creative pursuits and everyday writing tasks.

The new S Pen is seamlessly compatible with all devices previously supported by the S Pen Pro, including the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and newer models, Galaxy Note10 and newer models, and the Galaxy Tab S Series. Moreover, it effortlessly functions with any Samsung Galaxy PCs that support the S Pen.

Nevertheless, the price tag could be a potential obstacle. With a price of $99, it is not the most budget-friendly addition to your Samsung hardware. Currently, it is exclusively available for purchase in white.

As a Gen Z fan, I am excited about the release of the new S Pen. It has a lot of features that I think are really cool, like the enhanced tilt sensitivity and the improved precision. I also like that it's water-resistant, so I don't have to worry about it getting ruined if I accidentally drop it in the sink.

However, I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay $99 for it. That's a lot of money for a stylus, and I'm not sure if it's worth it. I'm also disappointed that it doesn't have air actions like its predecessors. I found those features to be really useful, and I'm not sure why Samsung decided to remove them.

Overall, I think the new S Pen is a great product, but it's a bit too expensive for me. I'm going to wait and see if the price goes down before I decide whether or not to buy it.
