Ryan Kent, who recently parted ways with Rangers, has secured a four-year contract with Turkish club Fenerbahce, pending a successful medical examination. The 26-year-old had reached the end of his Ibrox contract this season.

Kent was brought to Rangers after an impressive loan spell from Liverpool in the previous season for a transfer fee of £7m in 2019. However, he was among the five senior players who were not offered new deals by the club. The other four players who are also on the lookout for new clubs are Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor, and Filip Helander.

Speaking about his move he said: "Hello Fenerbahce fans. This is Ryan Kent.

After conversing with the club, I am thrilled to be a part of Fenerbahce. I am fully aware of the club's visions and goals for the upcoming season and I am eager to contribute towards achieving them, commencing from the Super Cup next month. I cannot wait to begin the pre-season, acquaint myself with my fellow team-mates, and engage with the fans. Stay safe and healthy.

Manager Michael Beale has wasted no time in bolstering the Rangers squad with pre-contract signings of Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, and Kieran Dowell. With pre-season training set to begin in June, Beale is optimistic about securing the majority of his transfer targets before then. Currently, negotiations are ongoing for two strikers, Sam Lammers from Atalanta and Cyriel Dessers from Cremonese.

Jose Cifuentes from Los Angeles FC has caught the attention of the club as well, however, according to We News, there are still substantial efforts required to finalize a deal for the midfielder. Meanwhile, negotiations are underway for a multi-million-pound contract with Lammers, the 26-year-old striker who remained on the bench during Eintracht Frankfurt's victory over Rangers in the Europa League finals last season.

Following an initial bid for Dessers, Beale is still hopeful of completing a move for the striker following Cremonese's relegation to Serie B.

How do Rangers win the league next season?

"We need to add quality to the squad, players who can bring something different and improve us in certain areas. Recruitment is going to be key for us and we're working hard behind the scenes to identify the right targets."

Our focus is on bringing in players who can contribute to the team's success for the long term. Nico Raskin, Todd Cantwell, and Kieran Dowell are just the beginning of this process. We plan to supplement their talents with experienced players who can add quality to our attacks in the final third."

As we head into pre-season, you'll see from my expression whether or not I've managed to secure all the players I've been aiming for. Regardless, I have some exciting new ideas to implement and we'll be looking to recruit a specific type of player to help us achieve our goals. I'm confident that we'll come back even stronger next year.

Looking at our league form over the past 24 games, it's clear that if we can reach that same level again, we'll definitely be in contention. Our focus now is on reaching the crucial March international break and then pushing forward with everything we've got.
