Russell Westbrook’s fashion sense — and basketball skills — will always be notable.

During a December 1st episode of Vogue's "Life in Looks" YouTube series, Westbrook, 35, discussed his fashion evolution, recalling his excitement over his first custom suit, a gray Alba suit with a yellow tie, which he wore in 2008 when he was drafted to the Seattle SuperSonics. He expressed gratitude for the tailored suit, noting the significance of the process as a first-time experience for him.

Next, Westbrook raved about his 2015 wedding attire alongside his wife Nina Earl. “One of the most incredible days of my life,” he enthused while describing his Tom Ford tuxedo. “I wanted to keep it elegant, timeless, but also stylish.” For the ceremony, Westbrook looked exceptionally dashing in a morning coat, a white vest, bowtie, and black pants. Meanwhile, Earl, 34, looked stunning in an A-line Vera Wang gown.

Westbrook later revealed a wardrobe mishap at the 2017 NBA Awards. He had planned to wear a full suit for the event, but ended up only wearing a white dress shirt, a navy blue tie, and matching pants. He explained that the suit he received in the morning did not fit properly when he tried it on and described the jacket as "super tight" and "super snug."

Aside from his appearances at sporting events, Westbrook has also been a guest at multiple Met Galas, using the fashion event to showcase his sense of style. He made his debut at the ball in 2021 wearing a Ralph Lauren suit and blue and white hair. The following year, at the 2022 Met Gala, he elevated his look by donning a Thom Browne kilt and top hat, explaining that he felt very comfortable wearing it.
