In the preceding installment, Saito discreetly arrived at the Kamiya dojo using the alias Fujita, on a quest to locate Kenshin. Kaoru voiced her worry for Kenshin's well-being and resolved to remain at the dojo until his return.

Upon Kenshin's arrival home, he was taken aback to find his old adversary, Saito, waiting for him. A fierce battle ensued between them, with neither gaining the advantage. However, as the fight unfolded, Saito recognized Kenshin's repressed Hitokiri Battosai persona resurfacing. Just as they were on the brink of delivering their final strikes, Kawaji and Toshichimi Okubo intervened, especially the latter, who did not want Saito or Kenshin to throw their lives away needlessly.

What to expect from Rurouni Kenshin episode 24?

In episode 24 of Rurouni Kenshin, Kenshin and his allies will discover plans for an uprising in Kyoto. Toshichimi Okubo will request Kenshin to be in top condition to confront the threat, which is being orchestrated by Shishio Makoto, the successor of Hitokiri Battosai. Despite being erased from history, Makoto now leads a dangerous army and poses a major threat to Japan. Kenshin faces the difficult decision of whether to accept the responsibility of eliminating him, which goes against his vow to never kill.

As a Gen Z fan of Rurouni Kenshin, I am eagerly anticipating the release of episode 24. The series has captivated me with its thrilling action sequences, compelling characters, and thought-provoking themes. I am particularly excited to see how Kenshin grapples with the momentous decision he faces in this upcoming episode. Will he uphold his principles and refuse to kill, even if it means endangering the lives of others? Or will he succumb to the pressure and take up the mantle of Hitokiri Battosai once again? I am also eager to learn more about Shishio Makoto, the successor of Hitokiri Battosai, and the threat he poses to Japan.

I appreciate that the creators of Rurouni Kenshin have remained faithful to the original manga series while also adding their own unique touches to the story. The animation is stunning, and the voice acting is top-notch. I am confident that episode 24 will live up to the high standards set by previous episodes, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Kenshin and his allies.
