RuPaul shared a special memory from the early days of his relationship with husband Georges LeBar. During an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, RuPaul recalled a moment that stood out to him.

When they were first dating, Georges asked RuPaul if he could floss his teeth. RuPaul was taken aback by the request and jokingly said, “F—k no, you can’t floss my teeth. I’ve never heard of that.” Despite the unusual request, RuPaul appreciated Georges' desire to be intimate and never forgot that moment.

From the first moment RuPaul met LeBar, who is 51 years old, he immediately knew that he was a "lovely and kind" man. He added, "He wanted to not just be inside me, but he wanted to be a part of me. That level of intimacy was something I had never felt before."

"He has never hurt my feelings, never," RuPaul shared on his podcast, mentioning that he and LeBar briefly broke up before tying the knot.

RuPaul first crossed paths with LeBar in 1994 and they took a break from their relationship when they both decided to get sober. (RuPaul has been sober since 1999.)

RuPaul shared with "Call Her Daddy" host Alexandra Cooper that even during their time apart, they both realized that there was no one they liked more. He mentioned how rare it was to find someone he felt so comfortable and himself with.

After years of reconciliation, the couple decided to officially get married on their anniversary in 2017.

RuPaul shared with Entertainment Tonight that after 23 years of being together, their bond remains strong. He expressed his deep love for his partner and emphasized that they truly know each other. In a previous interview with The New Yorker, the performer also discussed their open marriage.

"I don't really go out to dinner or go on hikes with new people that often," RuPaul shared recently. He mentioned that he doesn't have a close group of friends he can depend on for intimacy.

RuPaul expressed his belief that being monogamous is not practical. He stated, "There's no such thing as monogamy with men."
