Jack Reacher returns for Season 2, but the big question is whether his Season 1 love interest, Roscoe Conklin, will be joining him on the journey. Roscoe Conklin made her debut in Reacher Season 1 Episode 1, "Welcome to Margrave," played by Willa Fitzgerald. She is a competent and honorable sergeant with the Margrave Police Department.
Throughout Season 1, Roscoe is a key supporting character as she assists Jack (Alan Ritchson) in his investigation of the underhanded dealings between Kliner Industries and the local authorities. Additionally, she embarks on a romantic relationship with Reacher, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her potential return in Season 2.
Is Roscoe in Reacher Season 2?
No, Roscoe Conklin is not part of Reacher Season 2. This decision aligns with the second season’s source material, Lee Child novel Bad Luck and Trouble, which also does not include the character.
Roscoe is not the only character missing from Reacher's second season. Almost every cast member from Season 1, with the exception of Ritchson, is also missing from Season 2.
This includes Malcolm Goodwin, who portrayed Margrave PD's chief detective Oscar Finlay. Finlay left Margrave in the finale of the first season, and his move to Boston means he is not on Reacher's radar.
Maria Sten is the only exception, returning as Frances Neagley with an even bigger role this time. Neagley recruits Reacher to help her solve the murder of one of their former army buddies, driving the storyline for Reacher Season 2.
When did Reacher last see Roscoe?
Assuming Reacher and Roscoe didn’t hook up again sometime between Seasons 1 and 2, they’ve been apart for over two years.
In the first episode of Season 2, "ATM," Reacher himself discloses that two years, seven months, and 19 days have passed since the events in Margrave. Despite this detailed timeline, it's likely that Reacher hasn't forgotten his romance with Roscoe. However, due to his nomadic lifestyle, it's unlikely that he will settle down with her anytime soon – especially not in Season 2.

Editor's P/S
As a hard fan of the Reacher series, I was thrilled to hear about the return of Jack Reacher for Season 2. However, I was disappointed to learn that Roscoe Conklin, Reacher's love interest from Season 1, would not be joining him on this journey. Roscoe was a strong and capable character who played a vital role in the first season, and I had hoped to see her continue to develop and grow alongside Reacher.
While I understand that the decision to exclude Roscoe from Season 2 is in line with the source material, I still feel that it was a missed opportunity. Roscoe and Reacher had great chemistry, and their relationship added a lot of depth and emotion to the first season. I believe that her absence will be felt by many fans, and I hope that she may return in future seasons.
