With the release of Rick and Morty Season 7 Episode 5, fans may be curious about any fatalities. If so, who will meet their demise?
As fans contemplated how Rick and Morty could surpass the shocking "suicide spaghetti" episode, the creators have excelled in the inter-dimensional realm with the latest installment of Season 7, titled 'Unmortricken’.
The anticipation leading up to the release sparked intense speculation among fans. The promotional material cleverly hinted at a significant event within the show's fictional universe, using a self-referential approach. A voiceover declared, "The upcoming Rick and Morty episode contains such massive spoilers that we won't reveal any of them just yet."
Now that the episode has finally aired, it is crucial to understand which characters meet their demise. Caution: Spoilers lie ahead!
Who dies in Rick and Morty Season 7 Episode 5?
In the latest episode of Season 7, Rick C-137 triumphs over his arch-nemesis, Rick Prime, after a longstanding rivalry spanning six and a half seasons. This episode also witnesses the demise of multiple versions of Rick, along with the unfortunate demise of Slow Mobius.
Surprisingly, it is Evil Morty who aids Rick and Morty in locating and overpowering the real Rick Prime. Despite his cold and ruthless nature, Evil Morty's only desire is to be left alone in peace. After restraining Rick Prime with a device, Evil Morty brings back Rick C-137, the beloved Rick we all know, who then proceeds to mercilessly defeat his enemy, finally avenging the death of his wife Diane.

However, the concluding moment reveals Rick in a state of despair, returning to his ordinary existence, devoid of any purpose and undoubtedly experiencing a profound sense of dissatisfaction. While he successfully exacted revenge, it fails to resurrect Diane.
Beforehand, it is revealed that Rick Prime engineered a powerful weapon known as the Omega Device, designed to eliminate all iterations of its target. He expresses his intention to eradicate the entire Smith family until Rick C-137 gains insight from the experience.
Fortunately, Evil Morty intervenes and prevents Rick Prime from executing his plan. However, he proceeds to showcase the weapon's capabilities by targeting Rick's uncle, Slow Mobius. As anticipated, the demise of each iteration of Uncle Slow is altered to a slower pace before being eradicated from existence across all dimensions.
In the latest episode of Adult Swim, the characters Rick, Morty, and Evil Morty find themselves caught in the midst of a Rick Prime decoy. Within this complex, they encounter multiple other versions of Rick who share the same objective of seeking retribution against their nemesis.
Rick Prime informs them that he has preserved a solitary Diane. Equipping each one of them with a weapon, he declares that the individual who triumphs will earn the privilege to be with her.
Although Rick C-137 recognizes the devious nature of the situation, the remaining Ricks, including Indiana Jones, Bond, and the more amiable variants, meet their demise. They either perish from self-inflicted injuries or succumb to being consumed by flames.
Rick, Morty, and Evil Morty successfully elude death and evade Rick Prime's clutches. However, skepticism lingers amongst certain individuals who remain unconvinced that the antagonist's demise marks the ultimate conclusion.
According to a Redditor's comment, "R Prime was hyped as the formidable original villain, shrouded in mystery, presumably the most intelligent of them all. With his clever traps and diverse defense mechanisms, one would expect a more intense battle. I find it hard to believe that Prime met his end so effortlessly...there must be more to this story."

"Do you think our Rick actually killed Rick Prime? Does anyone else share the same opinion?" inquired one user, as another user chimed in, "I was fully expecting the post-credit scene to reveal Prime Rick being alive while Rick-C137 met his demise. It's difficult to accept that Rick Prime is gone so soon."
The possibilities are endless in the world of Rick and Morty. Only time will reveal the direction the story takes from here.

As an enthusiastic fan of Rick and Morty, I was thrilled to witness the highly anticipated Season 7 Episode 5, titled 'Unmortricken.' The episode lived up to the hype, delivering shocking revelations and unexpected character developments.
The episode's most significant moment was undoubtedly the confrontation between Rick C-137 and his arch-nemesis, Rick Prime. After a long-standing rivalry spanning multiple seasons, Rick C-137 finally defeated Rick Prime, avenging the death of his wife, Diane. This moment was both satisfying and emotionally charged, as it brought closure to a major storyline.
However, the episode also featured the unfortunate demise of several beloved characters. The deaths of multiple versions of Rick, including the lovable Slow Mobius, were particularly heartbreaking. These losses added a sense of weight and consequence to the story, reminding us that even in the wacky and unpredictable world of Rick and Morty, there are real stakes and sacrifices to be made.
Overall, I was impressed with the way the episode balanced humor, action, and emotional depth. The writers did an excellent job of exploring the complex relationships between the different Ricks and Mortys, while also introducing new and intriguing elements to the overall story. I am excited to see where the show goes from here and what other surprises it has in store for us.
