Alexia Nepola, star of The Real Housewives of Miami, is sharing her thoughts for the first time on her emotions following her husband Todd Nepola's decision to file for divorce.
In exclusive clips from the "Ay Por Favor" podcast hosted by Alexia and her RHOM castmate Marysol Patton, the 56-year-old admits she was surprised by the news. The podcast premieres tonight on We.
Alexia tells Patton, 57, that even after three weeks, she still finds herself looking back on the events of the first two weeks and wondering what exactly happened. Tears well up in her eyes as she recalls this.
Despite the sadness, Alexia mentions that she considers herself a generally positive person. She tries to focus on the happy memories she shared with Todd, 51, and the wonderful trips they took together.
Alexia expresses her feelings about anger being a part of the grieving process. She acknowledges that anger is a stage of grief, even though she does not want to feel that way. She admits to feeling lost in her emotions.
In a different scene from the latest episode of "Ay Por Favor," Alexia talks about the challenge of being strong. She reflects on how life does not necessarily equip you with the emotional strength needed to navigate difficult situations.

Alexia says she has emotional strength because of life lessons, even though she admits to struggling and crying. People often tell her she is strong.
Marysol adds that it annoys her when people constantly tell her she is strong.
Alexia, with tears in her eyes, admits, "I'm strong, but I'm only human."
The next episode of iHeartMedia's "Ay Por Favor" marks Alexia's return after a break since April 8. She had taken time off due to her divorce announcement, and Patton filled in with a short solo episode on April 15 to show her support. Reflecting on the situation, Patton shared, "I was completely caught off guard. It's heartbreaking because I can imagine how tough this must be for her."
On April 15, it was confirmed that Todd has filed for divorce from Alexia after three years of marriage. Later that day, Alexia went on social media to talk about the news. She mentioned that she was surprised by the decision.
In her Instagram Story, Alexia wrote, "I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to end our marriage. Even though it's a tough time for me, I find comfort in knowing that my friends and family will be there to support me."

Alexia recently appeared in public for the first time since the news came out, cohosting a drag brunch at HK Hall in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen with Patton on Saturday, April 27. She shared with the crowd, “I’m feeling good now that I’m here!”
Alexia expressed her gratitude towards her RHOM costars for their support during this time. She mentioned, “The special thing about our show is that even though we may have our disagreements on camera, when I truly need them, they are always there for me.” She went on to say, “When my news broke out about two weeks ago, Larsa [Pippen] and Julia [Lemigova] were among the first to reach out to me. Everyone called and texted to check up on me. This is what I truly appreciate about our franchise - the bond and support we have for each other.”
