Rather than altering the Confidants, which are already useful, the game could focus on upgrading the protagonist's schedule. This would provide the player with more opportunities to make friends by giving them more free time. While previous games in the series have followed a similar schedule, Persona 6 could potentially open up mornings on days without school, allowing for greater scheduling freedom and the ability to fully explore the game during a single playthrough.
