Revolutionary Logitech Audio Mixer Software Takes Open Beta by Storm

Logitech's revolutionary MIXLINE audio mixer software, now in open beta, simplifies audio routing for effortless livestreaming and monitoring, setting a new standard in user-friendly functionality

Logitech's new MIXLINE software, now available in open beta, offers a more user-friendly alternative to traditional mixing boards and DAWs for livestreaming and monitoring audio. By utilizing a diagram-style interface, it caters to users who prefer a simpler approach. Join the open beta and install MIXLINE for free on your Windows device today.

MIXLINE embodies Logitech's straightforward concept: catering to the livestreaming and gaming markets, the company has redirected its audio focus. As part of this effort, Logitech discontinued the Blue Microphones brand and began offering the Blue Yeti microphone with Logitech G branding. These new affordable audio products are designed for entry-level content creators, hence the need for MIXLINE as an accessible audio mixer.

However, being "easy to use" does not imply being of poor quality. MIXLINE provides all the essential functionalities required of an audio mixer. These include the capability to mix and route multiple audio sources (such as apps, games, and external microphones) to distinct audio outputs. This means that you can effectively create a separate audio mix for your own use as well as for your audience.

MIXLINE offers a simpler alternative to using complex faders and sub-menus. Rather than navigating through these, you can directly connect audio inputs to outputs by drawing lines between two columns. The left column represents your inputs, while the right column contains your outputs. Establishing a connection is as easy as clicking and dragging to create a line. Each connected input will display a volume slider beneath it. Additionally, if you connect an input to multiple outputs, you will have individual volume sliders for each connection.

This intuitive system greatly simplifies the mixing process and provides flexibility for monitoring during livestreaming. It can prove useful in various scenarios such as video calls, gaming sessions with friends, or content creation for YouTube. However, it's important to note that MIXLINE does not offer advanced studio features or audio effects. It is primarily a tool for routing and mixing. While it is capable of sending audio to recording software, it is not specifically designed for podcasting. For podcast recording, it is recommended to use dedicated software such as Audacity or Reaper.

Please note that MIXLINE is compatible with Windows 10 20H2 or later. Unfortunately, Logitech has not yet announced a version for macOS.
