A new mod called EZ-CORE has been created to make Armored Core 6 easier, addressing the accessibility issue faced by some players.

FromSoftware, renowned for creating demanding games such as the Souls series, continues this tradition with Armored Core 6.

The EZ-CORE modification incorporates six equilibrium enhancements and four optional modifications to decrease the level of difficulty, providing struggling players with a less perilous combat experience.

A new mod has been created to rebalance the difficulty of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, making it easier to play. Difficulty levels in FromSoftware games are often a topic of discussion and controversy, and Armored Core 6 is no exception. The game puts players against increasingly large mechs and machines with powerful weaponry. While some fans of FromSoftware games thrive in these challenging conditions, others consider it to be an issue of accessibility. With mods like this one, players can customize their Armored Core 6 experience to their preferences.

Difficulty is often associated with FromSoftware's popular Souls games, including Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and the upcoming Elden Ring. However, even before the release of Demon's Souls in 2009, FromSoftware was known for creating exceptionally difficult games. The King's Field trilogy, their first games, were all challenging experiences. Since 1997, the Armored Core franchise has also been renowned for its difficulty.

Armored Core 6 has been released, maintaining the franchise's challenging nature. A number of players have even confessed to surrendering against the tutorial boss of Armored Core 6. However, the game progressively becomes even more formidable. To aid struggling players, Xylozi, a modder, has made available a potential solution. The EZ-CORE mod brings about significant adjustments to the game's balance, effectively reducing the difficulty level. It essentially acts as an Easy Mode mod.

The Armored Core 6 mod brings about six balance adjustments and four optional changes. The six adjustments consist of a 50% reduction in equipment Energy Load and Weight, a 300% increase in all weapon rounds, a 200% increase in mission currency rewards, and a 300% increase in weapon range. While the mod does not grant invincibility to Armored Core 6 players, it significantly reduces the risk in combat.

The EZ-CORE mod also offers four distinct options. The first option activates the mod while maintaining Armored Core 6's original camera settings. The second option modifies the camera, pulling it back and expanding the field of view. The third option decreases the cost of all boosts and ascensions. The fourth option reduces mech equipment Weight and Energy Load by 50%. These last two options can be used independently of the other balance adjustments in the mod.

The EZ-CORE mod in Armored Core 6 is a permanent installation that automatically adjusts the game's difficulty based on the installed options. However, players are cautioned against using the mod when playing the game online to avoid the risk of account suspension. Nevertheless, for players seeking a less challenging experience, the mod serves as a viable option. Armored Core 6 can be played on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
