In For The King 2, an RPG where battles follow a turn-based mode, players will encounter formidable enemies as they navigate the game map. These adversaries often possess superior weapons, greater strength, and more health compared to the player. Consequently, characters are bound to sustain significant damage and even perish in such imbalanced conflicts.
To enhance their odds of victory, players must grasp the art of healing and rejuvenation for their characters. Nevertheless, this task is more demanding than initially perceived. Hence, the purpose of this guide is to assist players in keeping their characters alive throughout their journey in For The King 2.
How to Restore HP
Fortunately, there are numerous methods available to revive a fallen character in For The King 2. One of the simplest options involves seeking out different events and locations that possess the ability to heal characters, such as camps. Additionally, there exists a variety of herbs and items that have healing properties, such as Firesilk.
Herbs prove to be particularly valuable after upgrading the Old Pipe. Players have the chance to purchase Pipes with an assortment of effects from merchants. Generally, these Pipes are quite advantageous, but players should exercise caution when buying them if they require healing. It is important to carefully read the item's information before making a purchase. Each character can equip only one Pipe, so if players desire their entire party to benefit from increased healing, they must acquire this item for each member.
Additionally, players have the option to utilize Tinder Pouches for healing multiple characters simultaneously. A notable advantage is its compatibility during combat, although it does require the character to dedicate a turn for this action.
Nevertheless, the most effective approach to healing characters resides in employing an Herbalist class within the party. The Herbalist possesses the valuable skill, Find Herb, granting a random herb upon battle completion. Furthermore, they prove invaluable with their Party Heal ability, offering passive healing to the party, in addition to utilizing Godsbeard, a supportive item capable of healing all characters collectively. Utilizing an improved Old Pipe in conjunction with an Herbalist can provide a substantial and consistent healing effect throughout the entire party.
How to Revive Characters
There are three main ways to revive characters in For The King 2:
Players can revive a character during a battle. This can be done using the Revive Ally option, but it will take one turn.
In addition to their regular functions, sanctums also serve as revival points for characters, and they are scattered throughout the entire map. Once a character interacts with a sanctum, they gain temporary immunity to death for their next encounter.
Alternatively, players have the option to revive their characters in the overworld.
For The King 2 is now available on PC.
