Remnant 2: Unearth Rare Corrupted Lumenite Crystals with These Expert Tips!

Introduced in Remnant 2, Corrupted Lumenite Crystals are a valuable resource that players should prioritize collecting. These upgrade materials are essential for enhancing the various Mutators that now replace armor set effects, making them crucial for advancing in the late-game.

Unlike regular Lumenite Crystals, obtaining these corrupted crystals is considerably more challenging. They can only be obtained by defeating specific enemy types in Remnant 2. Fortunately, there are strategies to make the process of farming Corrupted Lumenite a bit less monotonous.

How to Farm Corrupted Lumenite Crystals in Remnant 2

Corrupted Lumenite Crystals can only be obtained by defeating Corrupted mini-bosses found in specific areas. These enemies can be identified by the red glitch effects that surround them, in addition to the boss health bar displayed at the top of the screen.

Secret rooms are often where Corrupted enemies are located. For instance, the gilded statue room in Losomn's Fae Castle maps (like the Council Chambers) is a prime example. To access this room, players must break the painting, descend into the hole, and navigate through the tunnels until they encounter the Executioner mini-boss in the flooded stockroom.

The front yard of Morrow Parish is another easily identifiable location for a Corrupted boss. The shed in the asylum's front yard is always where the Ripsaw mini-boss will appear whenever a new campaign or adventure is initiated. Although reaching this area may require some time, it's a small sacrifice considering the guaranteed opportunity to farm Corrupted Lumenite Crystals.

In the launch version of Remnant 2, players now have the ability to bypass the open map segment of Morrow Parish by exploiting a glitch that was discovered by the community. To execute this glitch, one player should perform the High Five emote in front of the locked gate at the asylum, while another player interacts with them. The animation of the high-five will cause one player to pass through the gate. Then, the player on the other side should use the emote perpendicular to the gate, enabling the other player to also pass through the gate. As a result, both players will be able to battle Ripsaw together.

In order to reach the +10 upgrade for a Mutator, players will require a significant amount of Corrupted Lumenite Crystals. By fully upgrading a Mutator, not only will its innate passive bonus be maximized, but it will also unlock a latent bonus that often provides a separate and more powerful advantage. For instance, the Twisting Wounds Mutator causes every Weakspot and Critical Hit to apply Bleed.
