Razbliuto Unveils Release Date, Cast, and Exciting First Trailer

The much-anticipated anime, Great Pretender: Razbliuto, has officially announced its release date, cast members, and other details through a trailer that dropped on December 19, 2023. The show is scheduled to premiere in Japan on February 23, 2024. North American theaters will also screen the anime on January 9 and 10, 2024. Serving as a sequel to the original net animation (ONA) from 2020, this new series is produced by Wit Studio and will introduce new characters, with Dorothy, a talented con artist, as the lead heroine.

Great Pretender: Razbliuto will premiere on February 23, 2024

The first trailer for the anime Great Pretender: Razbliuto was unveiled on December 19, 2023, along with the announcement of its release on February 23, 2024, on DMM TV in Japan. North American theaters will screen the anime on January 9 and 10, and Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to stream it worldwide, with the exception of China.

The initial teaser for Great Pretender: Razbliuto showcases Dorothy, the strong and brilliant protagonist who has amnesia. It also introduces Jay, the leader of the Taiwanese criminal world, and Yang, a skilled con artist.

Other captivating figures are also playfully hinted at in the PV. The combination of quirky animation and colorful visuals in the short clip effectively fuels excitement for the upcoming series. Additionally, the identities of the cast members have finally been revealed.

Yuka Komatsu, known for her role as Saeko Tanaka in Haikyuu!!, takes on the role of Dorothy in the series, with Shunsuke Takeuchi portraying Jay. Yasuhiro Mamiya, recognized for his role as Mask de Masculine in Bleach TYBW, provides the voice for Yang Kunyi (Ai), alongside Kazuyuki Okitsu as Hayashi.

Additionally, the official website includes Yasuyuki Kase, known for voicing Kankuro in Naruto, as Wang Wei Go, Mariya Ise as Binh Yen, and Mitsuaki Kanuka as Mori. The anime boasts a talented and diverse cast of both experienced and up-and-coming voice actors.

Additionally, the anime will also showcase Junichi Suwabe, known for voicing Ryomen Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen, as Laurent Thierry, and Chiaki Kobayashi as Makoto Edamura.

Hiro Kaburagi is back to lead the series produced by Wit Studio, collaborating on scripts with Takashi Kishimoto. Ryota Kosawa returns as the screenwriter and Hirotaka Kato reprises his role as character designer. Yutaka Yamada is in charge of the series' music, with Shouji Hata as sound director. Great Pretender: Razbliuto will continue the story from the previous season, focusing on Dorothy as she grapples with amnesia.
